One year ago, pop superstar Tom Applewhite was vaulted to fame by writing an angry song about his high school ex-girlfriend, Lisa — and it's tainted his image ever since. He constantly fields questions about who this Lisa was, if he's still in contact with her, and what she thinks of the song, because he's never told anyone the story. He's been in and out of relationships with all sorts of girls in LA, and according to his best friend from the U.K. Kaden Everette, it's because they're all crazy bitches.
But that all changes when his two best friends start dating — Kaden and Meredith Black, who is the one "cool girl" in Tom's estimation, and isn't crazy like all of his ex-girlfriends. Watching the way he treated his ex-girlfriend from the outside looking in with the one girl he actually cares about, he starts to wonder: is Lisa (and all his exes) that are the problem, or is it him?
But it's hard to convince people you've changed when everyone thinks you're L.A.'s most jerky pop artist. And it's even harder to convince the girl who's a 9 on the hotness scale who also happened to slap you when she found out you were the artist behind Lisa.
